JOHANNESBURG – Matric exams get underway on Monday with English and Afrikaans paper 3.
According to Basic Education, it’s all systems go.
The matric class of 2024 entered Grade 8 in 2020, at the height on the Covid-19 pandemic.
But the department says while this has had an impact on learning, they’ve been well prepared.
Concerns are also rising over the recent cases of food contamination that have dozens of pupils.
